Review | Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hr Eyeshadow

These products have been getting a lot of buzz on YouTube and blogs everywhere….  So you know I HAD to try these out and review them…

I was only able to find three of these in my store, and one of them I’m currently giving away, so I couldn’t really open and swatch it! So the two colors I have to show are Pomegranate Punk and Edgy Emerald.

I’m not a cream shadow kinda girl because I hate creasing shadow, but I wore these for 8+ hours at work and did not experience creasing! I have oily lids, so the wear on these was amazing to have made it through the whole day! You can also use these as a base to help intensify eyeshadow colors. These products remind me a lot of MAC’s paint pots and they are soooo BOMB to be drugstore products. There is definitely good wear time on them and I was AMAZED that I didn’t experience creasing… oh, and did I say I DIDN’T USE A PRIMER!! I really wanted to test the claims of these products and I give them 2 thumbs up! Kudos Maybelline, you hit the nail on the head with these!

I swatched the two samples on my hand just to get a good idea of what the colors truly look like, but honestly… They are pretty much the same as they are in the container. Both products have a frosty look to them. Pomegranate Punk has pink and gold shimmer, and Edgy Emerald has teal and gold shimmer as well.

Overall.. these shadows haven’t shown me any signs of creasing, they’re vibrant in color, and double as a base… who WOULDN’T want to try these?! If you have some.. let me know what you think of them in the comments below!!

I have the bronze, the gold the purple, white and I like them, they do not all go on smoothly, my favorites are the 2 greens and the bronze ones. I did not need the white because my NYX jumbo pencil does a better job. Great products.

I agree with you! I think the pigmentation varies between the colors you buy, but if nothing else, I like it as a base of colors that I don’t have in the jumbo eye pencils!
