NOTD 3.29.12 & Review

It’s been a while since I’ve done a NOTD post, but this color was so pretty I had to show you guys!

I didn’t want to just show you what I had on my nails, but I wanted to let you know what I thought of the formula itself since this is my first time using Ulta nail polish on my nails!

For starters, I’m wear Ulta’s Peach Parfait on my nails. I bought this when they had their BOGO free sale on all Ulta products! I already had this color in my collection from a gift bag, and didn’t even know it! Smh!! The only thing is… I HATE the formula!!! So now I not only have it once, but twice… FAIL!!

This polish was not in the least bit opaque. It took 4 coats to get the color you see in the picture above! And to be $6.00, oh heck no!!! I have $1.99 polish that applies better than this! It also took extremely long to dry, maybe because of the 7,897,368,892,738,092 coats I had to put on! Even with so many layers of polish I can still see straight through it! I don’t know if it would work better with a darker color, but avoid lighter shades of Ulta nail polishes… to only be $2.00 cheaper than OPI, they really don’t meet my requirements!

Overall, it turned out pretty, but I can’t say this polish is something I would recommend!
