Wen is NOT my friend!
So I decided to try out the Wen Cleansing Conditioner that came in my January GlamBag… and uhhhh… whew… Just keep reading!
When I initially opened this product I noticed that it was really thick and creamy and felt like a conditioner. You can see it was thick enough for me to pull apart between my fingers, and still stick together, so you would think this was a pretty effective product. I just knew this stuff would make my hair gorgeous!
Well if you have naturally curly, somewhat dry, hair like me.. AVOID THIS PRODUCT!
I had been warned by a friend that this was very drying, but I wanted to give it a fair shot. Using JUST the Wen Cleansing Conditioner as a 2-in-1 product is a FAIL for people with normal to dry hair! If you have oily hair, it will probably be perfect for you! However, it made my hair so brittle I worried that it would break off as I was combing it! I think they had a good idea with this product, but it’s just NOT for me!!! It only took me one shot to realize that I didn’t like this product!

I actually loved the product on my naturally curly hair, I did not use it on its own though…I used a another leave in conditioner with it because I did worry it would be too drying. I would not use this if I was going to blow dry it straight though, because it doesn’t feel like it would give enough elasticity and protection to my hair=)

Yeah… That’s why I just earned the people with drier hair. I’ve never considered mine dry, but it MUST be with how negatively this stuff affected me!
