Bite Beauty The Liquified Lipstick Review

Thanks to the folks over at Influenster, I was able to get my hands on a few of the new BITE beauty Liquified Lipsticks. I wanted to share my experiences with these lipsticks since I’ve been testing them out for a few weeks now.
Let me start off by saying that these are NOT like the typical liquid lipsticks we think of when we hear that term. These are, simply put, a liquified lipstick. Think, lipstick bullet, lots of heat, melt it down, put it in a container and use a doe-foot applicator to apply it to your lips. These are literally a liquid version of the Amuse Bouche lipsticks BITE released earlier.

Now to the deets… I received three shades of these lipsticks:  Eclair, Flambe, and Demi-Glacé; I also tried the lip primer. I have to say that these are great products, but they’re not the liquid lipsticks we have come to expect. These are what the name suggests- liquified lipsticks. There is no extra wear time or features just because it’s a “liquid lipstick.”

With that said, I do like the color payoff on these lipsticks. Flambé is a bit patchy, but most fire orange lipsticks are. The pigmentation is great on the other shades, though. They are very creamy and non-drying. But hunnayyyyy they are not smudgeproof, even with the primer. They bled outside of my lipline and transferred to any cup, straw, or hubby’s lips I kissed. It’s nice to have them in liquid form, though, because it makes a precise application easier.

Overall, I would say you should reach for this product if you like the ease of application of a liquid lipstick, but enjoy the wear of a more creamy lipstick! Have you tried any of the Amuse Bouche line? What did you think?!

See you in the next post!
