Weleda Wild Rose Smoothing Facial Lotion Review

So this came in one of my Birchboxes one month and I was out of moisturizer and didn’t feel like running to CVS. I decided to just use this and run to the store in the morning. I have to say, this was not as good as my drugstore, knock-off facial moisturizer.

This is definitely a facial LOTION and not to be mistaken for a liquid facial moisturizer. It has a VERY thick consistency, almost to the point that I couldn’t spread it across my face without feeling like I was pulling my skin. Not only was it EXTREMELY thick, it didn’t moisturize very well.  I woke up the next morning with dry patches on my face from where this product couldn’t make up for where my Differin gel was applied. I’m sure it would work on normal skin, but I need something that won’t be completely outdone by my drying differin gel. For me, personally, this product is a no-go! I will be sticking to my CVS brand facial moisturizer!
