October Ipsy Glam Bag

I know I continuously talk about how amazing the new service from Ipsy, formally MyGlam, is…. and it looks like it just keeps getting better!

This month’s theme is being a bombshell, and the fact that this bag can be used to make a complete look makes that entirely possible! I did a tutorial using the products in my bag here, so if you want to check that out, feel free!

The first sample comes from Coastal Scents. I believe these eyeshadows are “full-size” since the palettes usually have pans around the same size. The four colors were beautiful, but I was most excited about the matte red shade.

I swatched them and was really surprised by the quality. I’ve always been a bhcosmetics girl, but Coastal Scents is pretty good, too!

The next sample is Be a Bombshell eyeliner! It’s a really thick felt liner pen with a really good opacity. If you have smaller eyes this is NOT the liner for you! It’s really big and somewhat hard to work with… especially on a small lid.

You can’t really tell how big it is from the picture below, but trust me…. it’s pretty darn big!

I just barely swatched this on my hand, and this is how dark it turned out. The pigment is amazing on this product! It came at the perfect time… my other eyeliner just ran out!!!

Another amazing new product in the bag that I’ve never heard of, but instantly love… Mirenesse Lip Bomb Glossy Lacquer Stain. This bright pink lip gloss is pigmented like a lipstick, but glossy like a lip gloss and I love it! The applicator is like a flat, but round one.. this makes precise application and fill-in really easy! This is a new fav! I can’t stop wearing it! I got the color “Bomb 4” which is a bright pink that is so gorgeous on!

The next product was from theBalm, which is a brand I’ve been loving lately! It’s the What’s your Type? The bodybuilder mascara. I don’t think it really builds body, but it gave me crazyyy length! I like the wand that’s with it, too! It made it so I didn’t get clumps and really defined each lash!

The last product is the Couture Colour Pequi Oil Treatment which I also have never heard of, but I haven’t tried it yet! Once I do, I’ll let you guys know what I think of it! The website says it “makes hair 6X stronger, 3X shinier and visibly smoother after one application” so I can’t wait to see if that is true!

Overall this bag was really good this month and it SURPASSED my birchbox, once again. What colors did you get in your bag? Have you tried any of these products before? Let me know!
