My Summer Skincare Switch?

This all started with a lovely monthly sample subscription service called Birchbox…. My skin is forever grateful!I have been under dermatologist care for about a year now, and I’ve noticed that the products that I was given to treat my acne… helped, but they were nothing without the accompaniment of an antibiotic! Since I didn’t want to take acne pills forever I eased off of them and stuck with just the Retina-Micro. It was SO harsh on my skin! One minute I was dry, the next oily, and my skin just didn’t look healthy! Sure I could cover it with concealer/foundation, but I wanted to make the situation BETTER, not hide it!

A couple of months ago I got two samples of Juice Beauty products (shown above). I was cautious about trying them out, but about 2 weeks ago I decided I had nothing left to lose! The products boast with an Organic label allllll over the packaging! They say there’s a “blend of Salicylic Acid from Willow Bark, Vitamin C, organic fruit acids and CoQ10” that helps heal your acne in a safe way! This caught my eye like no other!

I’ve only been using the green apple peel (once a week), and the blemish clearing serum for a couple of weeks now, but the results are definitely showing! I have fewer breakouts, my skin is less oily, and I’m able to use the blemish clearing serum day and night without over-drying! Once I’ve got a better idea of just how well this product works I’ll be posting more in-depth reviews! For now, I just had to share my initial excitement with you all! Huge “thank you” to birchbox for introducing me to this! I love sampling programs!

My initial review: this product is great for anyone with combination/oily, acne-prone, sensitive skin who is SICK of going back and forth to the dermatologist!! If you guys have ever tried this stuff let me know! See you guys in my next post!!
