February Ipsy Glam Bag
Another great Ipsy glam bag goes on the books, ladies and gents. I absolutely love how they give us all makeup products that can be used to create full looks! That’s just what I did, too! The tutorial of my glam look created with this bag will be up on my channel tomorrow! Click here if you want to see that!
Now, let’s dive into this bag!
First is the Pixi Flawless & Poreless face primer! This deluxe-sized sample will seriously last foreverrrrr! This reminds me of the Two Faced Primed and Poreless primer. It duped the formula AND the name, in my opinion. Just like Two Faced’s primer, this one broke me out, so unfortunately I cannot use it! I’ll just give it to a friend! When I did try it, though, it did really good at keeping my makeup in place and minimizing my pores. The ingredients in this product are perfect for a girl with oily skin! Willow bark fights shine, salicylic acid clears and unblocks pores, and Enantia Chlorantha bark is an anti-microbial agent. I want to give this one more try and then I’ll tweet whether or not it’s definitely a keeper! (There are a lot of different factors that can cause a breakout, so I want to be sure it’s this product!)
This is the second time we’ve received a Coastal Scents Eyeshadow quad, and since I am a fan of Coastal Scents, I don’t mind. This would give much darker of a look, but in this video I show ways to use this color for a cute dramatic look! If you would like to see what I did click here for that video!
Next, we have the MicaBeauty gel eyeliner. O….M….G!!!!! I LOVE this stuff! It’s an extremely creamy eyeliner that I apply with my Sigma E11 brush! I am addicted to this! This combo makes it so easy to get the perfect line or winged eyeliner look every single time! I’m addicted! Thank youuuuu, ipsy, for helping me find my latest gel eyeliner addiction!
We also got the Pop Smokey Lash Kapow Mascara in our glam bag! This mascara has been giving my lower lashes amazing volume! It has a smaller wand (which I forgot to take a picture of), but it makes application to those bottom lashes pretty easy! It has a wet formula, but it doesn’t smudge once it’s set. It is not waterproof, though, so don’t wear it to a wedding!
Last, but not least, is a product I was first introduced to by my sister! The Lash Card!!! These cards are meant to protect you eyeshadow looks, that you work so hard on, from mascara wands accidentally ruining them in seconds! I demo’d how to use them in my latest video, and maaaaaan, they are cool! Essential for every makeup artist’s kit or for the gal who occasionally ruins her makeup when applying her mascara… *cough cough* me.
Another amazing bag goes down in the books… What do you guys think of these? Have you used any of the products? Which ones are your favs?!
See you guys in my next post!
XO,
Al
