Fall/ Winter Nail Polish Trends

I’ve had a few requests to show you guys what my favorite nail polish trends are for fall and winter! Instead of making a 20minute-long video I decided to blog it! It allows for a better view of the polishes as well as time to soak in and see if you like each color! So.. LET’s GET STARTED!!!

The first trend I’m loving is GLITTER! This ain’t your ordinary 5th grade glitter nail polish… glitter has been showing up EVERYWHERE!

 It adds a little flare to your typical one polish mani! Fine glitter is something I like using over a complementary base coat to allow the two polishes to flatter each other! In the picture I have three fine glitters! (In photo from L to R) Sinful Colors- Frenzy, Butter London- Henley Regatta and Rosie Lee, and Milani- Gems. The Gems glitter is chunky and PERFECT for the accent nail! I tend to use this as my go-to glitter… because it is so chunky, it provides the perfect POP and eye-catching affect to really make your nails stand out! If you want to spice up your nails, glitter is the way to go!

Next trend that makes any girl feel like a goddess…. JEWEL TONES!

These are the colors that look like jewels and gems! They’re very regal and command attention! Some of my favorites in my current collection are (l to r) OPI Red, Red Rhine and Diva of Geneva, as well as butter LONDON’s British Racing Green and Big Smoke. Red nails is always a hit, but if you have the perfect ruby red shade, you’re right on trend! Emerald greens are definitely a must as well!

I’ve got a few more colors in that category from the Sephora by OPI collection… I’ve chosen a perfect red, a lighter green, and a lighter blue to play around with the idea of jewel-tones and make the trend my own. These shades are frosted and have a lot of shimmer to them, making them gorgeous for fall outside of the trend!
