December 2012 Ipsy Glam Bag

This bag was BANGING yet again!!!! Well.. not so much the bag itself, but the contents inside! I’d be lying if I said I liked the silver plain bag, but after taking a peek inside I don’t even mind!

I was so excited to get the Mai Couture Highlighter Papier! These little sheets are so cool! You pull one off, put it on your face, press down, and POW…. You have a highlighted face! I haven’t actually tried them yet, but I have seen amazing reviews on them! They are also paraben and talc-free, so I’m SURE they won’t break me out! 🙂

There was another Be a Bombshell product this month….

Their lip gloss. I looooved the eyeliner we got last month, but this lip gloss… Notsomuch. It’s a bright fire-engine red in the tube, but it’s pretty sheer when you apply it! There’s a sponge-tip applicator that applies this sticky gloss. I’m not one for sticky gloss, y’all know that, but if you don’t mind.. this product is gorgeous! In the swatch you can see both the dark red areas where the gloss is more layered on, and the light red section that has less product.

The next product is the Mirabella prime for face and eyes. A lot of my friends who sub to ipsy tried this and said they really disliked it! I am yet to try it, but honestly, I can feel the breakout waiting in that tube! I won’t knock it yet, though! I’ll give it a try. I swatched it on the back of my hand and it has the same feel of the Smashbox Photofinish primer! That product broke me out :-/ We’ll keep out fingers crossed on this one!

I have so many loose pigment eyeshadows that I even made a tutorial on how to make them a cool design on your nails, lol. However, I’m still happy to have received this NYX Loose Pearl Eyeshadow in my bag this month! It’s a deep grayish green color and I can’t wait to see what cool looks I get with this bad boy!

I think we all have seen the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Pencils…. this one is in zero, which is a black color! I am THRILLED to have this one because I can use it as a travel touch-up eyeliner! My fav pencil from UD is Perversion, which is the blackest pencil I think I’ve ever seen! This was a definite win for this bag… Gotta love Urban Decay products!

Speaking of UD… this is my most EXCITING product of this months box…. A SAMPLE of UD’s NAKED SKIN Beauty Balm. They recommend that you use this under your NAKED SKIN foundation (as it doesn’t offer any coverage), but BB creams are supposed to help your skin. I can’t wait to see how this product performs! I will keep you guys posted, for sure!
