Target Summer 2012 Beauty Bag

I just received my FREE 2012 Target Summer Beauty Bag, and I’ve got to say… I love it! There are tons of samples of some of the hottest drugstore products as well as Target coupons galore!

I tweeted and posted the deal on my facebook page a couple of weeks ago! So I decided to show it to anyone who received it, is waiting to see what’s in it, or didn’t get it in time and are still curious!

Here are the samples that came in my bag:

Tresemme Split Remedy Shampoo/ Conditioner

1. Tresemme Split Remedy Shampoo & Conditioner-This claims to “reduce up to 80% of split ends after three uses.” I’ll be the judge of that! lol It’s not sulfate-free so I can’t say I’m extremely anxious to use this, but depending on how well it works, this may be added to my shampoo/conditioner arsenal!

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock

2. Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock with SPF 70 (with helioplex broad spectrum uva-uvb protection). This sunblock is waterproof & claims to have a “weightless clean feel” and is “#1 dermatologist recommended!” You can use this on your face or body, which is convenient! I think the importance of sunblock is something a lot of people overlook, so I’m really glad they added this to a summer beauty bag! This will definitely be going into my beach bag this summer!

Aveeno Smart Essentials Daily Detoxifying Scrub

3. Aveeno Smart Essentials Daily Detoxifying Scrub

This scrub claims that is oil-free, soap-free, and paraben free! The top three things that I look for in a face product! Not sure how willing I am to try this anytime soon, though, because I just switched my skincare routine a week ago! I used to love Aveeno products in high school, though, so maybe I’ll give it a try when I run out of my new stuff!

Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in Peach Parfait

4. Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in Peach Parfait

I already own this color and it is NOT flattering on me. I have to be honest, too, I hate these teeny samples of lip colors! That’s, at most, one use… how am I supposed to know if I LOOOOVE a product in one use! They got me all excited like a full-sized lip butter would be in this bag, and sadly, it’s not! 🙁

Garnier Fructis Color Shield Shampoo & Conditioner

5. Garnier Fructis Color Shield Shampoo & Conditioner

I used to like Garnier Fructis, but I noticed it was very drying on my hair… I wonder what this specific line would be like! It’s for color treated hair, which I don’t have, so this isn’t much use for me.. but I have a few people I can think of to give this sample to! This isn’t as much product as the Tresemme samples, but hopefully someone with longer hair can get at least one use out of it!

Various Target Coupons

6. TONS of AMAZING COUPONS came in this bag as well! $1 off here… $3 off there… this will really add up! I can’t wait to go into Target to put these coupons to work. You guys know I’m on the verge of being an extreme coupon-er, right?! Haha… no shame in my game!

Anyway… if you didn’t get a beauty bag, they’re all gone now! Don’t worry, though, they will have another one in the fall! Be sure to check my facebook and twitter for updates on the fall bag, freebies, giveaways, and more! Leave your comment on which item you think was the best & worst in this bag.. I’m curious to see what you think!

I love my bag as well, I think I may pick up the full size Aveeno Detoxifying Scrub, and of course the sunblock which will be in full use for the summer. Lol. I think the bag is too cute, I can’t complain with anything, I mean it was FREE. 🙂

I looooooved the bag!!! The print is so adorbs! I agree, this was a really good bag! I just feel bad for the lip butter size if there are ppl out there who haven’t tried it! But like you said… Beggars can’t be choosers 😉
