Painted Earth Cosmetics Review

Painted Earth CosmeticsI have a serious treat for you guys! A few months ago I received a ton of Painted Earth Makeup Products to try out and review for you all. We all saw how I felt about their skincare in my acne video and original review blog post. So, I was really pumped to try out their makeup products! Keep reading to see what I’ve tried and what I thought about each product! (stay tuned until the end for a coupon code)!

First up were a few eyeliners: the Perfect Line Felt Tip eyeliner in Sapphire Sky has been a product I have been reaching for a lot, lately (I just got one in black, too! That bad boy is now a holy grail product!!! The tip is perfect for the best winged eye ever). I also received the SuperWear Gel Liner pencil in Sienna and this deep brown pencil glides on like a dream. Below are swatches of both products, with a demonstration of how thick or thin you can get the Felt Tip Eyeliner, as well.

I was happy to also try a few of Painted Earth’s lip products. We have the Baby Hint of Mint lipglosses in Mint Pearl, Mint Mauve, Mint Cherry, and Mint Chocolate Truffle (l to r). I also have an HD Sheer lip gloss in grape. Below are swatches of each product. I’m not much for a mint tingle on my lips, but the color payoff was worth it, so I find myself layering these over lipstick! They are buildable from sheer to medium pigment you see below.

There are also eyeshadows, and plenty to choose from, at that. Some had better color payoff than others, but when applied to an eyeshadow base I had no issue with them. I also like using them wet for intense color payoff. I think these are more for the every day woman who doesn’t want to look like she spent 97 hours on her face and is completely drawn on. However, when intensified with a base or paint pot, they can work for the seasoned MUA, too!

Painted Earth also offers loose pigments, and these knocked my socks off! I got two of these. The color on the left is actually a duochrome-irridescent-shimmery gorgeous champagney-white. Yeah, I butchered that LOL, but trust me when I say that this one is GORGEOUS! I use it for inner highlight, dimension  on the lid, highlight under the brows, on the cheeks… YOU NAME IT!!!

Next up is the Eyes So Primed eyeshadow primer! For my oily lids, this wasn’t necessarily the best eyeshadow base. However, I’ve used it on clients and it worked just fine. It provides a nice smooth base that catches and holds eyeshadow for longer wear.

IMG_3384Lastly, I received a few lip products! I love every single one of these colors! They all compliment my skintone and have about a 3hr wear time! On the left is a Mineral Core Lip Tint that has minerals in the center that protect against the sun and have anti-aging properties. Then I got two Luxury Matte Lipsticks in Merlot and Red Carpet Red. Y’all. Seriously. These lipsticks are everythingggggggggg!!! First off, we all know how sensitive my lips are, and these don’t break me out! Also, they are matte (I liiiiive for a matte lip, hunnay)! Most matte lipsticks dry your lips out… these do not! They have hydrating ingredients like Sodium Hyaluronic, Squalene and Vitamin E to really keep your puckers plush! Below are the swatches of these three products.. please notice how pigmented that lip tint is… BOOM!
