Dr. Lipp Nipple Balm for Lips Review

So thanks to Birchbox and their Birchbloggers program I’ve had a chance to sample the Dr. Lipp Original Nipple Balm for Lips!! This balm may refer to lips and was originally invented as nipple balm for breast-feeding women, but it is useful on so many other levels, too!!!

First off I want to discuss the ingredients. I’ve been paying more attention to ingredients lately because I try to keep it simple when it comes to my sensitive skin. It just so has it that this only has ONE ingredient on the label: Medical Grade Lanolin. How’s that for straight to the point?! It’s obtained from natural sheep’s wool & cleansed of impurities, odors, tastes and parabens! YES PLEASE!!!!

I used it on my lips which have been oddly dry lately (too much plane air and frigid Canada temperatures). So I put this on at night and wake up with completely rejuvenated lips!! I don’t think I would use this all day only because I don’t like a very glossy lip, but if you don’t mind a little shine go for it hunnay! Your lips will thank you later!

As I said earlier, this product can be used for so much more. I use it as an overnight lip mask and even for my ashy elbows (no seriously, it works!). It’s hypoallergenic so you can use it on almost any external area of skin! Try it as a lid primer (especially for loose glitter), a tool for eyebrow shaping, shoe polish, cheek shine and more.
